body horror that was romantic, stressful, and hilarious???? ive never been so confused. this was actually INSANE!!! so gory yet a little scarce with it. in short clips and flashbacks that made for effective scares. i absolutely adore the way this was shot!!! some of my fave camera work ever like the whole hair-eating bit was crazy.  AND SOFCIAL RFFECTS?!,!;!:!: if i don’t see any attention for that i might scream. alison brie and dave franco are electrifying in their complicated relationship and how they peak and plummet together. i’ve never seen fear and shock so good before. the ripping sound effect in the school bathroom scene was way too unnecessarily uncomfortable.
