Sinners

The jumpscare ish at the very very start with the dude walking into church literally had me on edge for the whole rest of the film It was really cool and original. as someone who HATES horror movies (the only ones i've ever watched are toy story 4 and monster house), I acc had a good time watching this. I thought all the cast was great, especially the cousin of MBJ and the main vampire dude. I didn't think the cinematography was that amazing at the beginning, but it got a lot better. Like the pre-vampires stuff was obviously great because it was worldbuilding n stuff, but the scenes in the car looked like terrible green screen. But as soon as the vampires came and there were all the fire scenes and stuff, it was awesome and really nice colours etc. The plot was really good, kept me on edge, like when that one girl didn't wanna eat the onions i thought she was about to turn into a vampire. The white vampire guy when he did that Edward Cullen ass jump I lowkey lost it. Also TELL ME he doesn't look similar to Mr Maddens from nativity.... like they are lowkey twins (in this movie, not rly irl) not to play devil's advocate but... timmy should have won the oscar. i don't think MBJ looked miles above the rest of the cast. He was good, whereas Timmy actually stood out so much and was like actually incredible. Buttt MBJ still did really well, i think he defo deserved the nomination. Too much glaze for playing twins ibr.
