Hereditary

I don’t know what clicked with me on my second watch of this movie, but this is now a go to horror movie for me. It’s literally a modern day horror classic. It’s not a “spooky haunted house” movie. I wouldn’t even classify this as a pure horror film, this is grief stricken tragedy where our character (Annie) enters mania and leads to these paranormal events. It’s hard to watch because Toni Collette fucking kills it in this. The “I JUST WANT TO DIE” scene fucking HURT to watch. Amazing film, I fucking love this. Don’t watch it if you like being happy.
