HyperNormalisation

This was ok, I think. There’s a lot of threads going here, and I don’t feel they’re managed particularly well. You can get a broad sense of the thesis, but it ends up feeling more like a guy pointing at a bunch of stuff than a conscious effort to pull them together into one message. Independent elements of this are impactful and moving (most of this is on the strength of individual clips and pieces of footage), but I was left wanting when it zoomed out to the whole. I appreciate the goal of trying to cover so much history in causality in one sitting, but I think this one tries to take on too much to say something truly moving.
