it was so so beautiful - took me twice the time to watch it cuz I kept watching every scene on replay. the actors were amazing. insane chemistry my stomach was in knooooots the relief I felt when ryan was at that bus stop was like no other, I was so scared he killed himself in the car for a second there I love all the work with the mirrors and the space, the tension was there all the time I just know it's packed with so much more details staring at the ceiling trying to remember the lines and the scenes and linking them together like the first car scene with the mom just after the ceremony : she puts on music and you think "oh she doesn't want to sit in silence now huh, she might be questioning those decisions then..." mirrored with the car scene later on, just before she delivers niamh to the priest, in utter silence, safe in her selfishness. I kept thinking she might help him until the search party, but maybe I should have guessed from this parallel only that she wouldn't. > *one day Niam you'll believe in the things that you cannot see * he did in the end, didn't he? more movies like this pls!!! queer horror how I love you

somehow it was so annoying to watch and yet I finished it. so many insufferable characters!! and so many I didn't care about AT ALL - pls Connor or whatever your name was, take the door. not the good cheesy relaxing feet-kicking movie I expected. more a "let me pause this one sec and pace around the room in embarrassment from what is going on on that screen" movie. also Bradley Cooper deserved at least one punch. I wish his (ex)wife would have at least spit on him once, might have made the movie better. I stayed because of my crush on Alex, really no other reason
