A fascinating film that I really enjoyed. It isn't character-driven or narratively-driven, its more spacially-driven. It's like you peer into these people's lives and see them live. Definitely need to watch this again to fully appreciate it. It felt incredibly distant and apathetic, and I am not sure if that was the intention.

***"True, they were different. One sang, and the other didn't."*** Really good film. Agnès Varda does it again. The central performances from Thérèse Liotard and Valérie Mairesse were excellent. The colour and costuming was second to none.

***"Come on Deckard, show me what you're made of."*** A film about life; what defines life and what constitutes living. I could watch this for hours. That score... That goddamn score. Vangelis absolutely **crushed** it. I watched the Final Cut, got the 30th Anniversary Blu-ray, so worth it.
