Nosferatu

“if we are to tame darkness then we must first face that it exists.”oh laaaawd. i haven’t had a movie keep me this enthralled in a fucking while. i also have never took a bathroom break at the theatre faster in my life. let’s unpack this though because i think this film exceeded every single one of my expectations. first of all, i am a horror fan through and through. nosferatu is a modern take cult classic type of horror that i was INDUUULGING in. the cinematography was stunning, the lighting created an atmosphere that made me hold my breath every two seconds and the overall composition of the film was so eye catching and hauntingly beautiful. and let us not forget the absolutely absurdly talented actors. lily rose depps physicality was INSANE. if i hadn’t known bill skarsgard was nosferatu, i never for ONE SECOND would’ve believed he was in this film. he belongs to the horror genre, he just fucking gets it. and willem dafoe? darling, i fucking love you.  if you love horror, this is a must see in my opinion. grace ur eyes and be on the edge of your seat babe.
