Eraserhead

One year since he passed away... I will always miss David Lynch and his exceptional work as an artist. And to celebrate his life and work, I decided to watch Eraserhead, his first film, for the first time in my life, and what a start for David Lynch! This film already has many elements that we would see in his future productions, such as the mystery of dreams and nightmares, electricity, and obviously the bizarre aspect of our daily lives—common situations that become terrifying due to our own nervousness or lack of experience. Being a father can be very frightening; seeing your fragile child get sick can be a tremendously bizarre experience, especially when you are alone, without help and with fear. Beautiful film, unique experience; I will never regret watching a David Lynch film.
