Ow my God...
Translating a Shakespearean work into an Eastern imaginary world is something I would consider very difficult, but for someone who masters universals as well as Akira Kurosawa, the difficult becomes easy, and the result... an audiovisual masterpiece, vibrant colors, incredible dialogues, and of course, a directorial work like no other.
I wish that would-be modern directors would sit down and learn from the master Kurosawa, returning to the universal aspects that compose the art they supposedly try to create or adapt. They have a lack of culture and erudition, that's something Kurosawa had in abundance.
They need to be more humble.
