The Exorcist

A powerful, beautiful film that invites us to think more about the possibility of the transcendent. Christ invites us to carry our Cross as he did, and with that we must also embrace the possibility of Sacrifice. The most beautiful part of this film is that it show us that sometimes we will find ourselves in adverse situations that will make us question everything we thought was real, everything we believed, but in the end, through atonement, we can deal with these possibilities, even if we have to give our lives. There is nothing more beautiful in this world than giving your life for your neighbor, and that is how these two priests saved Regan's life. May we follow the example of the Martyrs and do the same in real life. Praise be God and the Holy Catholic Church. Amen.
