Death Note

I don’t think people liked this adaptation that much but it’s okay bc I love it enough for all of us. YES, both L and Light are different in this adaptation but what o love about it is that by changing BOTH of them, their dynamic still feels (to me at least), interesting and captivating. I also loved a softer Light. And L was totally in love with him. Like. “I never felt interest in a person, but then I met you”???? “I wish we had met another way”???? Their relationship was way more sincere in this, which I also find interesting. 4/5 stars just because they did my boys Near and Mello rly dirty. But this. THIS is what an adaptation that doesn’t want to be exactly like the source material but wants to somewhat keep its original feel be like. I love it. It single-handedly made me love Light Yagami.
