rod is iconic and we all need a best friend like him!! (this movie made me jump out of my airplane seat) (which is also crazy that i watched this on a plane bc a mere 4 years ago i watched Us on the plane too!)  anyway… enough of my life story! here are things of note that i wrote done in my notes app while watching this movie, enjoy: - she hit a deer on the car ride there, could be symbolic? - they closed off the basement bc of black mold - obvious but the “servants” are black too - his mother died in a hit and run!!! like the fucking deer! omg  - the mothers spoon??? - the black cars? it’s not a fking funeral… or is it? - they’re all wearing black too?? - omg what if she hypnotized them  - why does she call them grandma and grandpa???
