Ben-Hur

larping as a christian on easter 4/... not really a traditional christo-slop. however, jesus is still an important figure here so i had to watch it, not for the first time — but the excitement is still there. ben-hur is a monumental work. despide being released in 1959, it does feel like a modern blockbuster, making the film truly timeless while not without the charm of its era. the chariot scene is still the best piece of action cinema.
