i've never seen such genuine and authentic acting like this before in my life. vintenberg is really becoming one of my favorite directors, and mikkelsen is becoming my favorite actor ever. this broke my heart so many times, such an amazing performance from every single actor here. a lot of people saying how easy it is to hate the little girl, but really i think it shows how careless kids can be, and it will never be their fault. if your daughter did this to a close person in your life, you would never look down on her for it. you can only forgive, but no one will ever forget. it's so tragic from cover to cover. the final scene shattered my already torn heart.  truly a fucking masterpiece, real cinema moves you and provokes such a range of emotions and this one did exactly that: fear, rage, sadness, hope, and so many more
