Just when I thought that seeing it in the theater for a second time wouldn't change my life… it had the IMAX ratios. Rating: 10/10 Ranking: #21/2,101 20 - Sinners (2025) 21 - Interstellar (2014) 22 - The Lighthouse (2019)

With just enough time to squeeze in one more movie at the theater, I decided it was only best to pair Interstellar with Contact. This was an absolutely amazing and beautiful movie to see in the theater. It is still my personal favorite opening scene to any film ever period. I absolutely love Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey in this film, their chemistry is just absolutely amazing. I truly think that this was such an amazing and best possible film that Roberts Zemeckis could have made after Forrest Gump. Like this movie truly had me believing that Bill Clinton was an actual member of the cast in the film. I'm so glad that I was able to see this in the theater, it kind of feels like we never see a movie have a certain color consistently throughout the film, we need more of those. Rating: mid 9/10 Ranking: #235/2,101 234 - E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) 235 - The Ring (2002) 236 - Mother (2009)

Nice little murder mystery, if you want to call it that. It was really fun seeing the deduction and seeing everything really planned out and I think there were really some good twists and turns throughout this film. I really enjoyed Gene Barry and Peter Falk in this, it really makes me want to actually check out the Columbo TV show.
