Avatar: Fire and Ash

this was so perfect, oh my god. I could go on and on about the beauty of Avatar, but right now I need to talk about Varang. I’ve been waiting so long to finally see her, and I am completely mesmerised, totally in love, eternally enchanted. she’s breathtaking. i’m obsessed with her face, her mannerisms and those eyes. she is everything to me. “your goddess has no dominion here.” Varang is such a haunting character. she embodies that terrifying, hollow feeling of being abandoned by god, or by any higher creator, and being forced to carve out your own power in the absence of that divine protection. she doesn’t pray to Eywa, she doesn’t wait on Eywa’s will. she takes. she is both terrifying and beautiful, and honestly, there is nothing I love more than a bloodthirsty villainess. I’m obsessed.
