The Whip and the Body

i absolutely adore everything about this film, im a huge sucker for gothic imagery and stories so this was everything to me, im usually not a fan of slow stories but this worked perfectly, the cinematography is beautiful, the stills and ofc the fucking wardrobe "you haven't changed, i see. you've always loved violence" such a haunting line and a beautiful romantic horror about sadomasichism, yearning and the cherry on top ! a mysterious murder ughh perfection !! i mean what girl doesn't dream of her dead lover rising from his grave to whip her in bed he whipped her, carried her to the crypt and put her in the tomb 🪦⛓️🥀
