Love Letter

love how a simple letter can be the reason why a person relives a memory that is once forgotten.  yk if being selfish is the only reason for you to let go of someone, then i guess you can say that it's okay to be selfish for once. it's crazy to think about the way you can't truly know a person and the depth of their life, the only thing you can do is to listen for information and learn the layers and complexity they had once lived. while watching this it made me feel like im drinking a warm cup of coffee and being hug by a warm blanket, pretty ironic though this movie is all about coldness— the weather, her sickness, and even the cause of her father's death. the movie truly shows a profound way to grasp a forgotten memory and a grief to remember, and that's what makes this beautiful and melancholy at the same time. what is a person, if not memories? and what is love, if not remembering? iykyk
