Another Round
this movie was so many things to me that all felt so personal. it's insanely funny with the relationships, dialogue, and the premise of the film making me laugh throughout the entire 2 hours. it's a story about friends finding a way to connect when they realize they're struggling. it's a realistic portrayal of alcoholism and drinking culture that doesn't preach to its audience but manages to relate to those who may see themselves in the cast. being someone who worries about not being as important to their friends as they are to me and who enjoys drinking but is hypervigilant about the realities of abuse, this movie felt extremely close to home. lots of respect to the direction the ending takes
