Whiplash
You know when you put points on a chart and they can make a line. Well La La Land is one point, and Babylon is the second. Any two points make a line, so that’s nothing special. However, Whiplash is plotted firmly on that existing line creating a trend of phenomenal Damien Chazelle movies.
Holy shit. What an intense and evil movie. I was jaw-dropped several times throughout this movie, whether it was JK Simmons being purely evil or Mikes Teller being absolutely insane. Riveting. Exciting. Jazzy. I like Damien Chazelle
