what a beautiful glimpse into the expression of male compaionship, grief before death, and grief after death. the intricacies of deep bonds and how they're expressed, even when words are masked or there are none at all, is so raw and just as much a part of their every day lives as anything else. really personal camera work that does great work of expressing another layer within these characters' minds and feelings, even distorting reality at times to suit these themes. this is such a phenomenal fucking film. i did think it was paddington goes to peru at first, but i'm really not disappointed to have seen this
