Videodrome
i've been meaning to watch videodrome for a good bit now, and it was EXTREMELY worth it.
the acting, the atmosphere, the music, the fx too, are all amazing. it has incredible visuals throughout the movie and portrays mind control in a very interesting way.
max's hallucinations also, it's the way the real world mixes in with his hallucinations and you can't determine whether he is still hallucinating or not.
the hallucinations themself serve as a visceral, psychotic and physical bridge between humanity and technology (e.g. the breathing tv scene).
i've previously only seen david cronenberg's the fly, which was also amazing but i truly consider videodrome to be a masterpiece, in both body horror cinema and cinema itself.
