yappertron alert boohoo pagpasensyahan nyo na't ngayon nlng ulit naging giddy abt a film i likey so much hihi first of all, inde navarrette, you talented talented woman, you deserve 5 oscars for that acting alone period. she bouta blow up afff, baby you are a horror star!! might i say, this has to be the best one in horror so far. it literally deserves the hype it is getting, AND I THANK GODD ETO UNG PINILI NAMIN NI SOF PANUORIN SA SINEEE ☝️☝️☝️ the cinematography is top-tier, the way the lighting influences the tension is so effing good, especially its dependency with "nikki" in general is legit genius oooo her in the dark deepens my fear of the dark itself lol lalo ung one scene na nagrereflect ung light sa eyes nya making it look like white dots gave me literal chillsss, reminded me of that one short "the portrait of god" too! it gave the same effect on me i swear. i mean the built-up suspense alone was enough to make me feel like im gonna shit my pants anytime; this is the most mind-fucking thrill i've ever felt in awhile broooo it's insane. shout out to sarah's death scene haha, i fucking knew she was coming bruh like i legit was literally expecting the worse to happen for bro and yet it somehow still scared the living daylights out of me jdjeoekxnf that's when you know it's reeaal good. the mystery of how the wish works also adds to the horror of it all, i supes like it when films dont explain anything at all haha like fuh yes confuse me upp, ALSO EXACTLY WHY I TOTES LOVE NOT KNOWING WHATEVER THE FUCKK IS WRONG WITH NIKKI. i mean it's fosho witchcraft pero ykwim haha. speaking about nikki, oh that sweet poor girl, she did not deserve any of that. during the whole film all i ever felt was pity for her, how miserable it mustve been for her to still be conscious yet held back for that long, and kahit nung bumalik na sya i just know na magssuffer pa sya even more :⁠'⁠( kingina kasi nyang baron na yan e, i mean sure fine di naman nya alam na gagana ung wish and just carelessly wished tlga kasi honestly thats relatable af, pero how could you possible be such a fucking man afterwards??? he ignored everything kasi of course it pleases him to know how obsessed nikki is to him, he took advantage of her situation and did not even consider to undo his fucking actions and instead reverts to wanting to alter it??? bitchass didnt even realize how hes been violating that woman for who knows how long, and even until the very end he still manages to stay fucking selfish and left nikki to suffer even more. what a load of bullshit. dare i say, he's the real ass villain. he literally deserve far more worse than dying, tangina tlga sana sya nalang ung nabuhay. + like to add na this is very alike with companion (2025), i mean it's surprisingly similar with how theres an asshole who somehow got to manipulate a woman's autonomy for his own good and blah blah blah something more fucked up happened and the guy died and diva lived, theyre basically twins forreal xcept nikki's screwed af argh.
