Raised on classic films, Hitchcock was my fav director, Paul Newman was my teenage crush, and I thought Audrey Hepburn was the best. Got lost in the land of prestige TV for a while and trying to make my way back to my first love, great film. Guiding my husband, who’s not seen anything before 2000 and gets zero references, through a must watch list of movies of my own making.

Great concept, shaky in execution, which is a shame bc this deserves a wider audience on theme alone. That being said, a hella lot more fun than Del Toro’s Frankenstein from just a few months ago. Pretty sure this’ll keep in my memory far longer than that did.
