Korine’s style is so good for no reason

Cinematography is nice but man is this movie not good.

I really enjoyed this film and found it quite entertaining. This film focuses on Yoichi while also further exploring Sadako and her background. I could see myself watching this one more than the original because it has a clear goal from Act 1-3 while in the first film it takes a while to finally get going. I do think the first film is a big reason for this film working as well as it does. Everything that happened in the first is crucial to setting up what happens in this film. And I also feel that “Ring (1998)” was better put together. Overall I had a great time with “Ring 2 (1999)” and I’ll give it a 8.9/10.
