some things about this amazing film not in an order :
It's really beautiful with tnice shots
Sometimes it's dreamy especially in the place the girl lives, when we see what's inside her head and her outfits. This creates beautiful shots.
Sometimes slice of life movies are not good to show time goes but this film does it perfectly. I mean it doesn't seem like 1 months have passed when several years have passed like in others slice of lifes. This film shows 1 month and it feels like 1 month !
We can see that Hideaki Anno has the same traumas that when he made Neon Genesis : Evangelion. I think about parents issues.
Amazing dialogues, deep thoughts, and nice quotes.
My movie tastes are changing I'm liking more and more this but at the same time it's amazing because I'm closer to my absolute taste but at the same time it makes me want to rewatch everything I've watched (but
unfortunately I don't live 400 years so I don't have time). Also changing movie tastes is why I deleted all my Letterboxd ratings and after watching this movie I just want to do it again. My reviews are more a diary of a guy discovering films than things about the movie.
