The Virgin Suicides

Although I was okey throughout the movie I genuinely lost it when that guy went “Goodbye cruel world! No no no! You understand me! Im a teenager! I got problems!” It was really overwhelming because as they keep questioning the why’s of the girls I kept on thinking the answers wasn’t THAT obnoxious. They just didn’t really mean to understand the girls but satisfy their egos of understanding them. Yet I will say I understand why some may find the movie overrated since its lowkey milking the “teenage girl depression aesthetic”
