the story feels different yet similar? like you have seen something related to this but with a twist the idea of the kid not growing up is not utilized well in most situations, like it could've been way better the exploration of self awareness, sexuality, identity is amongst multiple themes running here, which is okay ig my favorite aspect is the "generations" aspect, you start with the grandmother then her daughter etc the "uncomfortable" parts were lowkey disturbing ngl > *75%*

im glad i discovered these two, what a refreshing watch fr this is a blend between a lot of elements I LOVE. COLORS. SURREAL-ISH FEEL. LYNCHIAN-ISH FEEL. (although i heard their future films got more lynchian too) very unique film for sure. the story tho its okay ig, not their best highlight, it is an homage to 70s italian crime and horror cinema & exploration of female sexuality. > *76%*

yeah... i liked the idea & its execution straight to the point with some of the most disturbing scenes i seen in a minute lmao, but perfectly well done to portray the actual feeling & to support the narrative looking forward to *the drama*, i enjoy his directing style. and again, scandinavian cinema is immune to fail istg. > *79%*

amazing concept, makes u appreciate humanity even with its flaws. i wish it was a little shorter, some scenes took too long with nothing appealing to it. it is a good movie but *perfect days *and *paris texas *are MILES better, although i believe the idea of *wings of desire *is better but i wish it had a different approach. > *79%*
