Parasite
bong joon ho's magnum opus
—˖⋆☆> this is so metaphoricalto be real, i don't have enough film knowledge whatsoever to leave an insightful and deep enough review about parasite, but it doesn't need to take a movie critic to know bong joon ho did one hell of a job.
i've watched a number of essays dissecting its every scene, all its metaphors, and to finally watch it in its entirity after seeing it chopped up to clips and knowing the storyline has NOT lessened the enjoyment of the film at ALL. that's just how good it is. from the "smell of poverty" to the respect to mr. park till the very end, it does an outstanding job at displaying class disparity. no notes, this alone should solidify bong joon ho's stance as one of the greatest directors of the century. give it a watch if u haven't!!
