The combination of great dialogue and natural performance brings about a sense of familiarity within oneself when sitting through this. It has a lot to say about deliberateness and not losing ones self to the slow march of time. Vivid scenes take place in your mind taking you in a journey through several places even though all there is just a guy talking for 90 percent of the movie. A bold premise, that it sticks with enough to be appreciable although it does go on for an half hour too long. If you are seeking answers, you’ll seldom find them in the words of a fictional character though, I disagree and vehemently agree to a lot of things said much like u would in an intimate deep conversation with a close friend. It’s no Dinner with Abed but it’ll do.

Enough people talk about the twist already so u won’t get into that without mentioning how meticulous the first few acts are to set up for it. The whole time you carry a similar rage as him for losing all those years. The style is just oozing out of the screen at all times, there is no second wasted in building and building. One of the best Korean performances as well.

Essential viewing

No way the west is making fun of Bollywood movies when this exists. Use of mixed media really makes it endearing; it goes from practical effects to stop motion to camera tricks and pretty good makeup that leads to a pretty gnarly feel. A bit too goofy for my liking but Ash does the carry job fairly well.
