Spirited Away

Spirited Away is easily one of the best animated films I‘ve seen. The fantasy is so amazing. If you know about Japanese folklore, you would understand the story. The film is so beautifully chaotic. Yubaba‘s bathhouse is a place I wanna be when I become a sprite. The animation was so good. This is my first Studio Ghibli film and I get why the studio is so renowned. Everything is a handmade art. I have not seen all Ghibli films yet, so I don‘t know if this will be my favorite, but maybe. Spirited Away is the most magnetic film of its genre, a very easy watch, with surrealism, tension, tone, story-depth, and culture. A total masterpiece, an artwork, a must-watch for any animated movie fan. Overall, Spirited Away‘s simplicity and childlike visuals make it a fairytale.
