“Hey, easy, easy! The car's just the right amount of shitty.” Watched with Jake D while he’s in town (made a watchlist for him and he wanted to start here). I’ve seen this so many times and had to show him. I cried but I didn’t want Jake to know so I held in the sniffles. But I’m pretty positive he cried too. I really didn’t want him to know I was crying (mild btw) because I knew he would probably want to cry even harder. Anyway, Sam Rockwell is incredible in this. I love his character so much. This movie would not work without him. The only person I could see taking on his role would be Shia Leboeuf. There are elements to this film that aren’t executed perfectly, but that’s ok. The story is good enough. Liam James is painful to watch, but it works somehow. Toni Collette is incredible. “It’s called delegation. I read about it in a book about it.”

DAAAAMN!!! I was LAUGHING

Spielberg really does have the magic! I cannot explain how much Raiders and Indiana means to me. Probably my most watched movie of all time. Best intro of all time! Like literally the best intro of all time.

You know what? Yeah buddy! I'm not a minecraft person. I love Jared Hess and I think he feel short of his true potential here, HOWEVER, this was fun. It's net positive for me and I really had a good time watching this with Mav. The story falls short in too many ways. But at the same time I think this is rewatchable for me. Maybe I've gone soft, but I'm kinda just in the mood to like movies. Big fan of the villain Malgosha. She reminded me of villains from movies like The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Legend, Troll in Central Park, The Black Cauldron, and Willow.
