prophantom

Chilling, you can feel the human element very strongly with this. The sense of dread continues to build as the reality of the situation becomes more clear. Excellent performances throughout. Never seen a film quite like it. Simple and effective plot and backstory that comes full circle in a concise runtime. Perfection.

Garbage

He’s among all of us, in plain sight. He’s not flawless, yet always 1 move ahead.  Way better on the second watch. You have to let the absurdities pass in order to understand what it is trying to portray, which is the simple fact that these beings blend right in with the rest of us, so much so that they are invisible.  Simple concept in theory but is executed perfectly and excels in all the best ways. The dolly shots, the split-diopter shots, the insanity of this man, it all comes together to bring this eerie masterpiece. Perfection.

This is what happens when you give a director a big budget and great actors, and skip the part where they are actually passionate about what they are making and care about the characters that they are trying to portray. This was so soulless and empty. Looked amazing though.
