Columbus

This movie just scratched an itch in my brain. Such an incredible movie with such real characters. Dialogue felt very natural and easy going as if it were happening in real time. Every shot was made to look pretty, like it could be a still image on its own, like its own piece of art. A lot of detail was put into when a shot would start, and when it should stop, showing everything in a specific scene for a reason, and that theme continued throughout the entire movie. I just really feel like this is a movie that I will come back to again and again and again just to see and feel the array of emotions that I experienced on first watch. Film is art in all shapes and forms, and this movie to me repeatedly hits that mark.
