Joint Security Area

Wow just wow every time I watch a Park Chan Wook film this guy just amazes me sm. His innovative filmmaking style coheres with this non-linear narrative with unreliable narrators to create a straight masterpiece. There’s so many parallels with the dialogue and the cinematography this film really shows the similarities between both sides and also seems to provide pros of both capitalism and communism emphasising the doomed nature of their friendship. Another thing I also really enjoyed is how this film depicts the perspectives of both sides which is really done so well with Lee Byung Hun and Song Kang Ho’s performances here
