brilliant movie, some great performances, but i feel the need to be the party pooper and write a more serious review. without Lobo’s unnecessary appearance, a character that was by the way not even mentioned in the comic the movie is from (probably a smart marketing move to introduce the character for future purposes), Supergirl would’ve most likely not have survived the whole arrow with kryptonite crystals in it, a scene that wasnt in the comics. now maybe im too woke, but it is that deep to me. because without the help of a man, Supergirl wouldn’t have made it. i know a movie adaptation will never be the exact copy of a comic, but some of the changes that were made changed the meaning of the whole story a bit drastically, in my opinion. i liked this movie though and i found it to be a very interesting modern take on Supergirl’s character, it didn’t live up to the expectations that the comic created in me to be honest but it was still a great movie.  now lowkey just think of Supergirl and Alicent though..
