Prisoners

Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal give spectacular performances, Hugh was my go to pick to play Joel in the Last of Us tv show just because of this film. Paul Dano is by far not a "weak actor", even though he kidnapped those kids he was a victim himself, and was manipulated into taking those girls. That scene with the sink literally made my heart beat out of my chest, it was so tense and everyone in that scene just made you feel every single emotion. Hugh made you feel his anger and desperation with every single swing, Terrance made you feel the fear for Paul's character and the fear of seeing someone who you consider your best friend turn into this other being, and Paul made you feel his fear and just sympathize with him. But then you think "Is he just lying and faking". It's a fantastic film with fantastic acting.
