Shallow Hal

Although the jokes and standards of beauty are poorly aged and exaggerated, this movie is a good lesson that true beauty is within and that we shouldn't be so shallow. The hospital scene after Hal's hypnosis is gone and he sees the little girl and realizes she's a burn victim, and says that she's beautiful literally never fails to make me cry. Jack Black does a great job at playing a shallow douchebag, and then a remorseful person who understands that he's been wrong his whole life.
