The Shawshank Redemption

I think this is one of those movies where you can only watch it one or two times in your lifetime because it’s so dark and depressing, but unlike most of those types of movies this movie surprisingly had a happy ending and I was not expecting that. I’m glad it had a happy ending. Sometimes I get so tired of movies that make you create your own ending. I was holding back tears at the end. I love themes of hope and this is the perfect depiction of hope.
