The Lobster

i KNEWWW i was gonna like this one. more and more im beginning to fall in love with this director. the way he's able to convey SOOO much with such little effort. but my main love for this film is how accurate it is to real life scenarios despite it being shown in such an obscure and unique way. i don't know if im describing it well but... it's literally just how romance or the concept of love/dating feels like in the real world. it's insanely accurate to how it feels but shown in such a unique way. it's like looking at everyday life outside the box you're usually used to seeing it in. it's so creative and it lowkey just is so personally loveable bc it's just a bit of me. like this is right up my alley with its kind of humour, filmography and depth. it's silly but can also mean a lot. it's just like me. ugh no. i loved this film. def became a new favourite. *tysm @ragreynolds for the film recommendation!🥹💕  (it's taken me a long time but it's been worth it, also we both knew i was gonna love this bahaha)*
