Whiplash

i was putting off watching this movie for SO LONG because i was 100% it wouldn't meet my expectations. GOOOOD I SHOULD'VE WATCHED THIS SOONER like i was stressing through the entire movie i couldn't even calm down when it ended (kinda) well. i'm still in shock from this entire film so i don't think i can even write a proper review,,, it's just peak. might actually write something later but i don't think i'll ever find the words to truly explain why and how much i felt while watching this. i can't remember the last time a movie left me this speechless. *— ;; fav quotes ;;* for the record, metz wasn't out of tune. you were, erickson, but he didn't know and that's bad enough. nieman, you earned the part. alternates, will you clean the blood off my drum set? andrew: but is there a line? you know, maybe you go too far, and you discourage the next charlie parker from ever becoming charlie parker? fletcher: no, man, no. because the next charlie parker would never be discouraged.
