Wicked

I can’t believe hollywood finally made a perfect musical movie adaptation. Thank you Jon M. Chu, we all say in unison! The live vocals made so much of a difference. Cynthia Erivo was flawless. She deserves that EGOT. Ariana’s performance was such a love letter to Kristen Chenoweth, but she still made it her own. Jonathan Bailey was perfect. I’m not convinced they gave Bowen Yang a script, but he killed me with every line delivery. I was cheesing and sobbing through the entire thing. My inner theatre kid is healed. Thank you. I’m seated for part 2. I could’ve sat for 3 more hours to watch it all in one go.
