Flow

It should go without saying I cried A LOT during this.  There was something about this movie that reminded me of Jonesy. While he never had to survive a biblical flood, he was once a stray cat that was found inside a Walmart.  When I got him from his rescue center he was about 8 months old. He was scared of everything and incredibly skittish. In some ways he still is.  Throughout this movie I couldn’t stop wondering about the life he had before he had a safe place to sleep. Was Jonesy born a stray or did somebody not want him? It’s hard for me to imagine that someone looking at his little face and throwing him outside to fend for himself. Jonesy was in that Walmart all by himself, and though it’s probably not very accurate to reality, I like to believe other animals helped him get inside to some place warm.
