Conclave

most of the time, the movie was a 3 1/2 but that last half hour bumped it to 4 stars.  love the idea of clashing modernity with the traditional values of the church as seen with things like the cardinal texting in the beginning to quite literally electing a pope with a female reproductive system.  my only critiques was that the film was a little predictable (i thought benitez was trans so that was the only main difference but not that much) and that the pacing needed to be sped up a little. overall a very visually beautiful film and would recommend to someone who loves cinema, not to the general public.
