The Perfection

I loved the movie much more this time around. I have had friends come forward about being sexually abused in the church we grew up in, and they didn't realize it until people stated coming forward with the #metoo movements. So the idea of a whole system turning a blind eye, authority figures abusing their power and telling girls it's love or something else really hit home. Especially the scene where Charlotte says "it was just rape!" So yes, maybe there was an extra dose of catharsis this time around watching these evil men get their due when these women take their power back.
