can we normalize having friendships that are this close? like them. a bond so deep it almost feels like family, but not something that needs to be forced into that. how bad does a social environment have to be for relationships to fall apart just from the pressure around them? out of all the friendship films, this is one that really left me feeling empty. it hit so hard that i don’t think i’d watch it again. it’s not overly dramatic, and that quietness is what makes it feel so comforting, but also so hollow at the same time.
