The Virgin Suicides
I don’t really know what this movie is trying to say, but the cinematography is a piece of art. I also don’t fully understand the meaning honestly, the film feels kind of mediocre. But while watching it, I felt like that kind of girl (I’m male). I can’t really describe it maybe some kind of “rotten doll” aesthetic? lol.
And I don’t think having strict parents is this dramatic. Another thing I liked about the cinematography is that even though this film was made in 1999, it genuinely felt like an A24 movie from 2017–2018. That’s so cool.
I’m giving it 3 stars because I didn’t really like the pacing/story flow. Overall, it’s mediocre.
