Ran
In a mad world, only the mad are sane. I've been somewhat connected to this film ever since I was a child. I used to search my name on google and this would pop up. My father studied film and his favorite director has always been Kurosawa. As I grew older, watching his movies became an almost goal of mine. I wanted to watch this film when I thought I became mature enough to understand and appreciate the artistic beauty that resides here. After years of waiting, this almost monumental moment became reality and this was, although scattered and watched on small screens, one of the best cinematic experiences I've ever had. Ran is, hands down, the most beautiful film I've seen.
