Its very beautiful in some sickening way, but it left me with a really bad feeling

For me, the odyssey is divided into two parts: before and after the underworld scene. The first one was amazingly made but quite formulaic, or even commercial. It was great to watch but i felt like it wasnt so different from other hollywood adventure films designed to attract large crowds and kinda missed the opportunity to bring together nolan's genius and the beauty and dephs of the original work into something really amazing. In the second part my concerns faded and it turned into the masterpiece we all waited years for. Really. Nolan cant dissapoint. Also I really liked all the flashbacks because it created a bigger picture of archaic greece, extending beyond the story of odysseus himself back to the events of the illiad and everything The whole cast did incerdible jobs but the best was robert pattinson no doubt. Idk why but he reminded me of joaquin in gladiator in the best way possible. BUT: The effort it takes to shot a full film (and what a film!) On IMAX is valued, and absolutely amazing on the cinematic aspect, but what kind of art prevents the average person from seeing the full picture due to accessibility or price? Really, with all the appreciation it almost feels like a gimmick when you think of the small percentage of viewers who will actually get to watch the movie at full size. It's pretty annoying. In conclusion, this film did not dissapoint at all, it was great great great despite being far from being nolan's best (which can only be taken as a compliment to him) and it left me wondering what new heights he will reach in the future.

Not an hour has gone by in the last three months when I haven't thought about this film
