I loved how unique and creative all of the cinematography was in this film, it was a colorful, confusing, messy, beautiful film, distorting realities, possibilities and human potential, they really tapped into deep and complicated concepts, like existence, matters weight in the universe, etc. and I love that stuff. (This film was like that one “Rick and Morty” episode) (Zoning out final boss in this film btw)

It’s weird how some people really are born into situations that just scar them for the rest of their lives, I felt bad for “Lee”, I really did, it wasn’t her fault… (“Charlize Theron’s” performance and role as “Lee” was very raw and emotionally charged, I couldn’t stop thinking about “Mia Goth’s” performance in “Pearl”, they look so alike and the performances were similarly incredible.)

The suspense and suffocating atmosphere this film had was just very felt and well put together, the dynamic “Lee” and “Patrick” had wasn’t beautiful but it was real and raw, it was very honest and I loved that. (“Is this life after high school ?”)

This was very emotional and heartfelt and it did make me feel something but other than that it felt pretty predictable and overly dramatic, not bad but not great either.
